HDW-650P  The HDW-650P incorporates the latest developments in acquisition technology to capture breathtaking HD images. It can record pictures in 1080/50i and 59.94i interlace mode, as well as in 1080/25P where a natural 'film look' is required.
The camcorder features three newly developed 2/3-inch type Power HAD FX CCDs, a 14-bit A/D converter, and a state-of-the-art DSP LSI signal processing. This provides extremely wide tonal reproduction, as well as a high sensitivity of F12 at 50 Hz. A signal-to-noise ratio of up to 59dB is realised using a newly developed noise-suppression function.

The case for shooting programme content in High Definition has never been so compelling. The cost, speed and quality advantages of HD over film for prestige productions are well documented. Now the economics of HD production for mainstream television production have been transformed making HD acquisition accessible to those working on SD budgets.
A key component of this transformation is the HDW-730S HDCAM camcorder. The HDW-730S features 3 x 2.2 million-pixel IT CCDs and Advanced Digital Signal Processing (ADSP). The camcorder is switchable between 1080/50i and 1080/59.94i operation, opening up significant possibilities for international co-production or distribution of content.

SONY-PDW-700   The PDW-700 captures stunning HD images. It features three newly developed 2/3-inch progressive Power HAD FX CCDs at 1920 x 1080 resolution. 14-bit A/D conversion and advanced digital signal processing are also used to ensure the highest picture quality.The PDW-700 records at a data rate of up to 50Mb/s using an MPEG-2 4:2:2P@HL compression technology called MPEG HD422.

Sony's standard-definition (SD) and high-definition (HD) production cameras have been widely accepted by a great number of video professionals around the world, due to their excellent picture performance and system versatility. The HXC-100 is equipped with a newly developed three 2/3-inch type 2.2-megapixel HD CCD. Based on Sony HAD sensor technology and the latest on-chip lens structure, this new CCD offers a high sensitivity of F11 at 2000 lx. In addition to this performance, a wide variety of capturing modes including 1080/50i and 720/50P.
